Love, London, and Long Walks: Our 2-Month Honeymoon Dream

When Hendrik and I began planning our honeymoon, we knew we didn’t want just a vacation—we wanted a story. A city where every street felt cinematic, every café sparked conversation, and every moment lingered. For us, that city was London. Week 3–5: Living Like Londoners

We shifted to a charming Airbnb in Shoreditch, trading tourist maps for spontaneity. We hunted for street art, discovered underground jazz bars, and even joined a rooftop yoga class at sunrise. London wasn’t just beautiful—it was alive, creative, and constantly surprising.

One of our favorite nights was watching Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, followed by late-night fish and chips in Soho. It felt like we were characters in a movie we didn’t want to end.

Week 6–8: Day Trips, Deep Talks, and Endless Memories

From Cambridge to Bath, Brighton to Windsor, we explored the countryside, rode scenic trains, and discovered hidden bookstores and antique shops. We even spent a rainy afternoon reading together inside the British Library—the kind of moment we’ll remember long after the photos fade.

This honeymoon wasn’t about ticking off landmarks. It was about falling in love all over again, in the middle of a city that makes falling in love effortless.
