Love, London, and Long Walks: Our 2-Month Honeymoon Dream
By Anna & Hendrik Sulivan

When Hendrik and I began planning our honeymoon, we knew we didn’t want just a vacation—we wanted a story. A city where every street felt cinematic, every café sparked conversation, and every moment lingered. For us, that city was London. But like most international travel dreams, the first real step was getting our visa. And that’s where Visa Venture came into the picture.

Planning a honeymoon is stressful enough. Add visa paperwork to that, and you have the perfect recipe for headaches. But Visa Venture made the entire process unbelievably easy. They guided us through each step—from gathering the documents, to understanding timelines, to booking the right visa slot for a two-month stay. Their support gave us peace of mind, which made packing way more fun than stressing over embassy formalities.

When our visas were approved, it felt like the journey had already begun.

Week 1–2: Tourist Wonders & Tea for Two

Landing at Heathrow, hand-in-hand, felt surreal. The crisp London air, the buzz of red buses, and the skyline kissed by Big Ben—it was exactly how we pictured our honeymoon would start.

We stayed near Notting Hill for the first few weeks, wandering through Portobello Market, sipping tea at cozy cafés, and taking cheesy polaroids in front of pastel houses. Every evening, we found ourselves walking along the Thames, sometimes talking, sometimes silent, always smiling.

Week 3–5: Living Like Londoners

We shifted to a charming Airbnb in Shoreditch, trading tourist maps for spontaneity. We hunted for street art, discovered underground jazz bars, and even joined a rooftop yoga class at sunrise. London wasn’t just beautiful—it was alive, creative, and constantly surprising.

One of our favorite nights was watching Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre, followed by late-night fish and chips in Soho. It felt like we were characters in a movie we didn’t want to end.

Week 6–8: Day Trips, Deep Talks, and Endless Memories

From Cambridge to Bath, Brighton to Windsor, we explored the countryside, rode scenic trains, and discovered hidden bookstores and antique shops. We even spent a rainy afternoon reading together inside the British Library—the kind of moment we’ll remember long after the photos fade.

This honeymoon wasn’t about ticking off landmarks. It was about falling in love all over again, in the middle of a city that makes falling in love effortless.

A Love Letter to London—and Visa Venture

As we boarded our flight back, we couldn’t believe it had already been two months. London gave us laughter, quiet mornings, wild nights, and the kind of shared experiences that lay the strongest foundation for a marriage.

And behind it all, making this magic possible, was Visa Venture. Their care and professionalism gave us the freedom to focus on what mattered—each other.

Thank you, Visa Venture! You didn’t just help us travel—you helped us build the perfect beginning to our story.
Highly recommended to every couple dreaming of a once-in-a-lifetime escape.
